Center Facilities
A variety of sophisticated technologies are now available for you at the Heart & Vascular Center:
- A Cardiac Catheterization Lab designed for cardiologists to perform a wide array of catheterization procedures, such as angioplasty and various interventions.
- The use of ultrasound or high-frequency sound waves to produce high-quality visuals of the heart's movement. This helps to determine exactly how well the heart is functioning and allows doctors to check for valve disease, cardiac masses or congenital problems.
- Supervised rehabilitation program, including Phase I for inpatient rehabilitation and Phase II and III for outpatient rehabilitation and maintenance, is available for Cardiovascular patients.

What is more important - prevention or diagnostics?
They are equally important, and both provide a critical role in good heart care. Prevention can reduce some of the risks, but diagnosis is key to knowing which prevention techniques will have the most impact. The Heart & Vascular Center will help you determine the right balance for you and your family.
